About
I obtained my undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Bari (Italy). For my thesis, I worked in Dr. Anna Hirsh’s lab on the design and synthesis of drug candidates targeting the protein DXS at HIPS in Saarbrücken (Germany). In 2019, I started my PhD in Carlomagno group at the BMWZ in Hannover (Germany), where I have been working on the structural and biophysical characterization of SH2 domains in complex with phosphopeptides, employing NMR spectroscopy and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). I moved to Birmingham in April 2022.
