About
Thomas Tarenzi obtained his PhD in Physics in 2019 at the RWTH Aachen University (Germany), with a thesis focused on the development of novel simulation methods for the study of GPCR-ligand complexes. After a post-doc at the University of Trento (Italy), he joined Prof. Carlomagno’s group in 2023. His expertise lies in the computational-based investigation of biological processes through molecular dynamics simulations, combining different levels of resolution and enhanced-sampling techniques. Topics of particular interest include intrinsically disordered proteins, allosteric communication, and membrane-protein interactions.
